Trials Evolution Gameplay Trailer Released By Josh Harmon
Call me a conspiracy nut, but I think someone at RedLynx leaked this new gameplay trailer for Trials Evolution intentionally. They can deny it all they like, but they've already admitted to doing this sort of thing in the past. By my count, they leaked more than half a dozen trailers for Trials 2 SE in a shrewd attempt to drum up publicity, and it looks like they're up to their dirty old tricks again.
Well, RedLynx, I refuse to play into your little stunt. I will not talk about the trailer's impressive... More »
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Gets Real With Real Gameplay Footage By Ian Miles Cheong
Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, giving us a first look at the game itself with some proper gameplay footage.
First revealed at E3 in 2010, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is a third person shooter set in the near future in locations like Norway, Asia, and the Middle East.
As a futuristic take on the Ghost Recon series, the Ghosts will be fighting an ultra-nationalist group of Russians who've taken over Russia and are invading neighboring countries. The missions take place... More »

The next batch of Battlefield 3 DLC could be revealed as soon as next week.
During a Q&A session following EA's conference call to investors last night, VP of investor relations Peter Ausnit touched on the company's DLC strategy with major titles, indicating that a significant Battlefield announcement was on the way.
"We've got plans for all of our major franchises to turn them into more of as we're seeing with FIFA and with Battlefield more as games for service that have... More »
Valve Concept Art for Possibly Scrapped Project Revealed By Ian Miles Cheong
Peter König, a Valve artist, has been responsible for producing concept art, models, and textures for many major Valve games including Left 4 Dead 2 and DOTA2. His personal website has a number of L4D2 concepts and a space shuttle with "SOB 49" stenciled on the hull.
According to HalfLife2.net, which spotted the news, last year's DOTA2 leak contained previously unreleased information about an IP in development at Valve codenamed "SOB", which suggested that the game was set in space. The... More »
Syndicate Won't Have Online Pass By Josh Harmon
Starbreeze's upcoming Syndicate reboot will not be shipping with an Online Pass, an EA rep has confirmed.
Traditionally, EA ships all its games with an one-use Online Pass code that unlocks some portion of the game's content, most frequently online multiplayer. Those who buy the game used are required to pay $10 if they want to access the linked content.
However, EA Partners executive producer Jeff Gamon has explained that Syndicate would not feature any sort of Online Pass, as the publisher... More »

The 'beta' for Mass Effect 3 was leaked months ago, giving a few lucky players a taste of the upcoming RPG. The good news for everyone who hasn't yet had a chance to play the game and isn't sure if they want to buy it is that Bioware has plans to release a demo for Mass Effect 3 in the near future.
Intent on playing the demo, fans asked Bioware on the game's official forum as to whether they will require a Gold membership of Xbox Live to get their hands on the demo.
Speaking for the developer, Chris Priestly... More »

Some Xbox Live Services might be Down By Mat Growcott
Certain sections of Xbox Live may be down, Electronic Theatre reports. After complaints from their readers that they were unable to create or recover GamerTags, access account management or sign-in using memory cards, Electronic Theatre reached out to Microsoft and was told that the company are aware of the issues and that they'll be sorted as quickly as possible.
So, if you'd been waiting for today to change your GamerTag to something incredibly witty, take it as a sign that you just don't have it in you... More »
Mass Effect 3 Demo is loaded with Free Gold By Mat Growcott
It's a long established fact that the people who have Xbox Live Gold are likely to be the people Microsoft reward. It's not a bad thing - although Silver members might disagree with me - and, considering the revenue brought in from Gold members, it's definitely not an unexpected thing. So the news that the Mass Effect 3 demo will require you to have Xbox Live Gold isn't a surprising thing.
However, Microsoft have decided that anybody who downloads the demo deserves to be able to play a great game like... More »
