Ubisoft posted a new story trailer for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Rogue, which has a bit of a surprise for PC players slotted at the end of the video. PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will get to enjoy Rogue exclusive this year, but Windows gamers will get their stab in early 2015.
This means that PCs will be the only place to play both Unity and Rogue. When asked about possible PS4 and Xbox One ports during an interview with IGN, a Ubisoft rep said, "We can’t talk about this right now." Considering the recent trend of publishers remastering their old-gen titles for current-gen machines, I suspect it may happen sooner than you think.
Assassin's Creed Rogue arrives for Windows in early 2015. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are still scheduled for November 11 this year.
